There are so many diets and some of them are very extreme. I believe, that we should eat natural foods and in proportion. Diet is in my opinion the food intake and habits which are different for every individual. A balanced diet requires adequate water intake, alongside food from five nutrient groups which are:

  • Carbohydrate
  • Protein
  • Fat
  • Vitamins
  • Minerals

And how much of everything you need depend on what your goals are. Are you trying to lose weight, trying to get fit for your triathlon, trying to boost your energy levels or simply you just want to feel good from the inside as well as from the outside?

I will help you to understand the importance played by food and water in order to promote  both good health and effective training outcomes.

Adka’s little tips which helped me to lose weight and keep fit are:

Switching potatoes to sweet potatoes

Eating quinoa instead of rice

Using fresh raw cauliflower to make homemade cous-cous

Replacing white pasta with whole wheat pasta

Always eating full fat yogurts as low fat contains too much sugar!

Using coconut oil in cooking! It’s simply Amazing!
